Good morning Fairview! We hope you will be able to come out this evening for the 2nd Grade Veterans Day Program and Movie Night immediately following. If weather permits, we will be outside on the lower parking lot for the movie (dress accordingly and bring blankets and chairs if you like). If weather is bad, we will move it indoors to the cafeteria. The event is free. We will have concessions for purchase (Hotdogs, Nachos with chili & cheese, popcorn, and soda). Please bring small bills:)
Good afternoon, Fairview Families! This afternoon your child was sent home with two papers. One was a quick reference guide on how to sign up on PikMyKid, a new app we will be using that will help automate dismissal. With this app, you will not only be able to announce when you are in the car line, but will be able to change your child's mode of transportation or who will pick them up from school, all from within the app! To get started, download the PikMyKid Parent App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, create an account and scan one of the QR Codes that was sent home with your child (one for each parent/guardian). If you have any other questions, here is a link with a short video intro and some help documents. If you cannot find what you need, feel free to reach out to me via email or phone. Bryan.McDonald@tasd7.net or 870-774-9241 https://pikmykid.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/8000003990 We would like to begin using the app next week to help automate the process and add another layer of safety to ensure that students get home with the correct person.

Good Morning, Fairview Friends and Family! We need to address some dismissal issues. 1. In the mornings and afternoons, 17th Street is one way. Please do not park on 17th street or turn right from the parking lot onto 17th street. 2. Furthermore, in the afternoons, we call cars that are on 17th Street. Please enter 17th Street from Hickory Street NOT Laurel Street. This slows down the line and causes delays for everyone. 3. If you need to get out of your vehicle or if your child forgot something and needs to return to the building, please DO NOT park in line. Instead, please circle the block and reenter the line or park on 17th Street (east of Garland) or on Garland Avenue (north of 17th) and Ms. Lilly, our crossing guard will help your child across the street. See attached diagram on the following platforms (Facebook, Website, App, or Email). Have a great day!
